"Meri Mati Mera Desh" Campaign has been launched by Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India to celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

"Meri Mati Mera Desh" program has been conceived by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a culmination of "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav". It basically aims to pay tribute to the heroes who have made the supreme sacrifice for the country by organizing different ceremonies at Gram Panchayat, Taluka Panchayat, District Panchayat and different local institute as well as state and national level.

Why "Meri Mati Mera Desh" Abhiyan has been started.

This program has been organized from August 9 to August 30. "Meri Mati Mera Desh" Abhiyan is a campaign launched by the Government of India. This campaign has been done as a closing program of the Amrit Mohotsav of Azadi on the occasion of completion of 75 years of India's independence. The main objective of this campaign is to honor and pay tribute to the brave martyrs, freedom fighters and veterans during India's freedom struggle. 

At the village level, five different aspects have been included in this programme. In which commemorative ceremony, panchapran pledge, Vasudha vandan, salute to heroes and singing national anthem by hoisting the national flag. In this a pledge is also given in Pancha Prana Pratgya. Also, in the Vasudha Vandan program, 75 saplings of indigenous species will be planted and raised in each gram panchayat or village.

Who can participate in "Meri Mati Mera Desh" program?

"Meri Mati Mera Desh" Abhiyan is a nationwide campaign. In which any citizen of India can participate in this campaign. There is no income limit, age limit and no caste limit in this program to be a part of this campaign.

Outline and features of "Meri Mati Mera Desh" Abhiyan

• Under Meri Mati Mera Desh Abhiyan, 7500 pots of soil will be collected from different parts of the country and brought to the national capital, Delhi.
• which will be used to develop a park called 'Amrit Vatika' along the Kartavya Path in Delhi. This Amrit Vatika will become a symbol of the strength of the country.
• Vasudha Vandan program will also be organized in Meri Mati Mera Desh Abhiyan. In which 75 saplings of indigenous species will be planted and raised in each gram panchayat or village. The responsibility of this program has been entrusted to the rural development and panchayat department in the states.
• Meri Mati Mera Desh Abhiyan programs have been carried out under the scheme from Gram Panchayat to State and National level.
• As part of Meri Mati Mera Desh 2023, a special kind of inscription will also be installed in lakhs of Gram Panchayats across India which will show the proof of this campaign to the next generation.
• Under Meri Mati Mera Desh Abhiyan, tree plantation, writing, painting and some cultural programs will also be organized in schools. The aim of which is to inculcate in the students the sense of patriotism towards their country and love towards the motherland.

• Step 5: Now a new page will open in which you have to enter your name, mobile number, state and district.
• Step 6: After entering all the information you have to read the following oath carefully and click on submit option.
• Step 7: Now a new page will open. In this newly opened page you have to upload a photo of a plant selfie or a selfie with soil.
• Step 8: After uploading the photo you have to click on submit option. Once the submit button is clicked, a certificate with your name will appear on the screen.
• Step 9: Download button will appear below the certificate. By clicking on it you will be able to download your name certificate.
